Nutcase Helmet Design competition

This year I was very pleased to be a part of 'Unframed'. A global design contest, presented by Nutcase Helmets, that "puts fresh art on cool helmets" a combination of two things I love Art and Biking.

Sunrose Emplacement featured in Exhibition at Pataka Gallery
 

The idea behind 'Sunrose Emplacement' was to place traditional wood blocks prints into an out-of-the-normal environment. In this instance the guard house for a WWII coastal defence fort.

About Me

I'm Bridget, I am a visual artist based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

​

As an artist and print maker my work is influenced heavily by nature. I am also an avid gardener and cyclist - these are my moments of 'me' when I'm not wrangling my 4 young daughters.

​

Gardening and nature has been a constant in my art practise for many years. Including traveling to the UK to work at The Eden Project in Cornwall.

​

I am a project facilitator at Toi To Karoro studio in South Brighton, Christchurch NZ.
